Jo Anne Rigg
Jo Anne Rigg, (nee: Cliff) age 61, of Glen Rock, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 5, 2012 after a courageous fight with cancer. Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Jo Anne grew up in Hawthorne and lived in Glen Rock for the past 35 years. She was a graduate of Hawthorne High School and the Berkeley School. She was the Deputy Tax Collector for the Borough of Glen Rock and was a parishioner of St. Catharine’s R.C. Church in Glen Rock.
Jo Anne Rigg is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Bruce Rigg. She was the proud mother to Christian Rigg and his wife Kathryn of Wyckoff; Stephen Rigg and his wife Danielle of Pompton Lakes; and Jennifer Rutkowski and her husband David of Glen Rock; and was the devoted sister of Fred Cliff and his wife Deborah of Hawthorne. Jo Anne’s six grandchildren, Morgan, Jason, Sarah, Emma, Ashley, and Theodore, brought her much strength and joy during her most trying periods. Jo Anne’s warm heart and contagious laugh will be missed by all who knew her.
